Online Training Program
Inner healing is not a side ministry of the Church — it is part of the restoring ministry of Jesus Himself. At Deeply Rooted Life Center, we are passionate about equipping believers to do the work of the ministry with integrity, discernment, and deep dependence on the Holy Spirit.
This online training is designed for mature, teachable followers of Christ who sense a call to help others walk toward freedom. Because this ministry involves vulnerable stories and sacred trust, we train carefully, prayerfully, and with clear boundaries. Healthy multiplication strengthens the Body and expands safe, Spirit-led healing spaces for those in need.

This is not performance ministry.
This is not a counseling certification.

This is structured, accountable, Spirit-led equipping.
Participation is a privilege and may be revoked if standards are not upheld.

Training Format (Online Only)
All training is conducted online via secure video platform. For those who live close, we may offer in-person portions and sessions.
Participants will engage in:
Live teaching sessions
Guided discussion
Supervised observation of Inner Healing sessions
Breakout practice opportunities
Real-time feedback
Written reflection assignments
Because sessions involve vulnerable individuals, cameras will remain off and microphones muted during observation. Clear procedures are followed to protect confidentiality and minimize distractions.
Prerequisites Before Applying
This training is not entry-level ministry.
Applicants must:
Have a consistent, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Submit a written recommendation from a leader who knows them well
Demonstrate emotional stability and maturity
Be willing to operate under biblical authority
Be teachable and accountable
Inner healing ministry flows from personal freedom. Those still in acute crisis or unresolved instability may be encouraged to pursue additional healing before applying.
Application & Discernment Process
Submit recommendation letter from a Leader you are in relationship with.
Complete a personal interview with Kay Duffield (via secure video or in-person)
The interview prayerfully discerns:
Spiritual maturity
Motivation and heart posture
Theological alignment
Emotional steadiness
Readiness for trauma-informed ministry
Acceptance is not automatic. It is prayerfully discerned.
Once Accepted - Next Steps
Before observing or participating in any session, the following must be completed:
1. Training Agreement
Read and submit the official Training Agreement.
2. Liability Waiver & Release
Acknowledging voluntary participation and assumption of personal responsibility.
3. Criminal Background Check
Completed through Protect My Ministry (at participant’s expense). If you have had a criminal background screening within the last year for another ministry we will accept a copy of those results.
Results must be sent directly to Deeply Rooted Life Center and approved prior to participation.
Participation cannot begin until screening results are received.
4. Personal Healing Requirements
Participants complete:
One personal Inner Healing session with Kay Duffield - minimum
Basic bloodline renunciations - open to discuss this
An in-depth deliverance session addressing Freedom from Child Sacrifice in the Bloodline - open to discuss this
Ministry flows from personal freedom.
What You Will Be Trained In
This program provides biblical and practical training in:
Foundations of inner healing tools
Hearing God
Discernment
Identifying root agreements and lies
Forgiveness processes
Repentance and renunciation to break legal rights
Spiritual oppression and freedom prayer
Trauma-informed care principles
Ethical boundaries
Scope of spiritual care
Crisis awareness and referral procedures
Facilitators operate within a defined scope of spiritual care ministry. This training does not provide mental health licensure or authorize independent psychotherapy.
Boundaries & Ethics
Because sacred trust is involved, participants agree to:
Strict confidentiality
Protection of identifying information
No recording of sessions
Secure or shred all notes that contain information that identify client
Operate only within delegated authority
Avoid ministering independently under DRLC without authorization
Submit to leadership correction
Mandatory reporting laws (Missouri) are followed in cases of abuse or imminent harm.
Crisis intervention is outside the scope of this training. Facilitators are not crisis responders.
Development & Advancement
Movement into assisted or supervised facilitation is not automatic.
Advancement is based on demonstrated:
Spiritual maturity
Emotional steadiness
Discernment
Faithfulness
Submission to leadership
Safety and integrity always override participation.
